You are not a designer.

The article linked above makes a really good point:

Design is an art and passion that must constantly be improved. Design is a craft that should be studied and poured over until you get tired of it and then you get up and do it again. Take the time to study like the greats before you. Push your limits. Test your boundaries. Make something ugly to help you come up with some ideas on how to make something beautiful. When you need inspiration create your own. Even when you know design, you are always learning design. You can become a true designer if you work at it, just not many people out there really have that desire.

Any designers out there, be it engineers, graphic designers, architects, or artists … read it carefully and take it to heart.

I used this photo to tease my designer OCD girlfriend. Had to overcome my own designer OCD to make this. This is the most horrid piece of shit I’ve ever made. Haha. I literally had to remember to not press shift when resizing, and I even had to apply a pixelation filter on Ms. Black. So sad. =_=
